Farm Tours

Chasin’ a Dream Thoroughbreds welcomes guests to the farm.  The two hour tour is a great introduction to the breeding and foaling operation of a race horse farm.  Our lovely farm is situated in the heart of horse country and surrounded by the majestic live oaks, lush green pastures and rich in the history of famous race horses.

Daily tours are structured to our visitors and can be booked quickly with morning or afternoon options.   The tour includes a brief overview of the history of the thoroughbred, explanations of conformation and pedigree, information about the sires standing in Florida, insight into the mating process, a tour of the facility, barn and paddocks, and personal one-on-one introduction to each mare and foal. You will experience it all and never look at a race horse the same way again.

Children are welcome in the company of an adult.  Our miniature horse “casper” is available for a pony ride and pictures.  Tours are customized whenever possible to fit the age groups and physical requirements of guests. Young, retirees, families, couples and groups — it is fun for all.

Whatever your degree of knowledge, there is something for everyone to learn.  A wonderful way to spend an afternoon in the “horse capital of the world” where there is never a dull moment on a working farm.  Because the farm is busy every day, every tour is different.  You may see a horse in training at the track, a blacksmith visit, foaling check, live breeding, or many of the other day-to-day operations.  Whatever the day brings, – it reveal the amazing life of a racehorse.
